A sneak peak at something I’m working on.
My first real go at embroidery, just kind of winging it, since I never really learned how to do it.
Another one from the sketchbook. Actually really happy with this.
So I saw this beautiful set of pictures of this young woman and I swear I clicked the heart in the corner, but I cannot find that photo-set for the life of me. I would be happy to know the photographer’s or her name to make a source/credit note in my sketchbook.
This is another drawing from the illustration sketchbook, this one from a photo of guitarist Frank Iero.
I’m really enjoying putting my box of vermilion col-erase pencils to use. Something about them feels more natural to me to draw with. I feel like a lot of the drawings I’ve been doing with them look much less forced and much more like I intend them to.
Blue Australian Cattle Dog (I love these guys).
Little drawing for that illustration class. We have a weekly sketchbook requirement, no assignments, just to do studies. All of mine so far have been portraits, busts mostly. Except for this little guy, who I just couldn’t resist.
Some pretty little doodles-ladies I drew while browsing tarastarlet.com and pining over some of my imaginary wardrobe.
Also a little bit in love with my new Magma sketchbook. It’s bright red, just my kind of paper, and makes me pretty happy just to look at.
A handful of things from Europe all getting compiled on cork board, another favorite thing of mine to do.
Mixture of work from personal photos and imagery from tumblr as well as some other nonsense.
Last of the old stuff for now, I promise.
for every single person who reblogs this, i will put a song in their inbox based solely on their blog content (and possibly theme).

Ryan and Alex. Sometimes drawing everyone I know is all I wanna do.
This is my favorite dress I own, I would live in it if I could. I was on a mad hunt for it on eBay for a long time because I just couldn’t afford it straight from Trashy Diva. I drew this while daydreaming about it.
I was really proud of my leopard print.
My first attempt at figuring out gouache. It was fun, but I clearly have some learning to do with this.
These two pages are actually from last year during my trip. I used pages like this as fun warm-ups by picking out photos as I was scrolling through my dash, and working bits of each of them into the page wherever they fit.
This actually looks like fun.
If I’m not familiar with the series I may go ahead and look it up, so please feel free to suggest one.
Also I would probably accept other things as suggestions, like movies or what have you.

I swear I am on here looking at imagery and artists and all kinds of neat stuff all the time, but I always forget that it’s somewhere I intended to post my work too. So many months since my last post, I would really like to keep on top of this a little better. New goal, post something at least once a week?
This is a little piece I put together upon reviewing the photos i took on my trip to Berlin this April. Contemplating a simple blue layer to print underneath, but we’ll see.
